Diane Kramer

Shown here is the work of a great friend and fellow artist, Diane Kramer. I met Diane (aka, she-wolf) on flickr during the past year or so and we have become very good friends. So good in fact that she is coming from Michigan to Philly to spend some time with me in a few weeks!! Recently, Diane shared her thoughts about the meaning of her art with Katherine Treffinger in Katherine's Art and Meaning blog.

I hope to post more of Diane's work, particularly her sculpture and ceramic work which is so beautiful and soulful. If you can't wait for my posting, please take a look over at her flickr site which is sure to inspire.

Love ya, Di. xx

I had not seen these before. Diane's work moves me deeply. Her sculptures are 'primal' and that speaks to me on many levels. It is very kind of you to promote her work here Mary Ann. You are a good friend. I think we may need to alert Philly when the two of you get together though.

I'm so glad you stopped in to see Di's work, Z. I love her paintings and these are a few of my favorites. I am in love with her sculptures and feel much like you on the primal feel of them. She's a natural for sure.

I read your last statement to my husband while having a good laugh myself. I can't image us getting into too much trouble, mwaaaahhh !!!

Mary Ann and Di I had to look at these a couple of times to absorb that they are Di's. But, yes they are the very same she wolf, artist extraordinaire! Thank you for sharing these. Also nice to see your picture in the blog identity now Di.

Katelen and Jeane, thank you for visiting and seeing Diane's inspiring work. I couldn't agree more with each of your comments.

Katherine, thanks for stopping in to see these pieces of Di's. They are like gems buried in her flickr photostream. It's why I go back again and again... there's always something so amazing just sitting there. I'm so glad to bring these out for air for others to see, and hope to do so again soon with her other work, especially the sculptures :-)

p.s. I am glad to see Di's photo icon too !!

Thanks again ladies and fellow artists !!
