Rashida Jones Kisses Zooey Deschanel With Help From Natalie Portman
Rashida Jones plays a lesbian lawyer in "Our Idiot Brother," and her girlfriend for the film is played by her pal Zooey Deschanel.
Rashida recently revealed she wasn't quite sure what to expect when filming romantic scenes with her first on-screen girlfriend.
So she called Natalie Portman who won a Golden Globe award and an Oscar for her role in Black Swan, which included intense sexual scenes with Mila Kunis.
"I'm friends with Natalie and I asked her [what to expect]," Rashida told Access Hollywood.
"She was like, 'Dude, it's awkward to make out with your friends - I'm just warning you right now. It's super awkward!'
"They had like, a full-on love scene though - it was totally different," she added.
Her make out scene with Zooey was no problem.
"It was totally fun," the "Parks and Recreation" star told Access.
"I mean, it was slightly awkward, only because Zooey and I have known each other for a long time. It's kind of weird to kiss your friends.
"But, you know, she's so pretty - she doesn't make it that hard!" she added with a smile.

Actor Paul Rudd's female co-stars think the star's character is a walking fashion faux pas.
The actor stars alongside Elizabeth Banks, Emily Mortimer, Zooey Deschanel and Rashida Jones in the new movie, Our Idiot Brother.
Speaking about his character's style, Banks said to ET: "He's sort of like Farmer John meets hippie meets Crocs."
Jones added: "The mixture of the Crocs and the, like, baggy tank tops, and like the Jams - like tribal shorts - and the hair and the beard... Just wrong, straight wrong."
Mortimer added: "I really don't think I know anyone else on the planet that can look sexy in Crocs, but somehow he manages it. Crocs to me are the most depressing things in existence and Paul's character Ned is a Crocophile."
